What Is the Leverage at NSF?

At NSF, leverage is defined by the challenge type, not by a universal evaluation vs funded split. Each funding model has its own leverage rules, with optional upgrades available at checkout.

Leverage by Funding Model

1-Step Challenge

  • Base leverage: 1:30

  • With Increased Leverage add-on: 1:100

This leverage applies during both the challenge and funded stages.

2-Step Challenge

  • Base leverage: 1:50

  • With Increased Leverage add-on: 1:100

The same leverage applies across both evaluation phases and the funded account.

Instant Funding Account

  • Base leverage: 1:20

  • With Increased Leverage add-on: 1:50

Instant Funding uses stricter leverage by default due to the absence of an evaluation phase.

Pay After Pass (1-Step & 2-Step)

  • Base leverage: 1:30

  • With Increased Leverage add-on: 1:100

Leverage remains consistent between challenge phases and the funded stage for Pay After Pass accounts.

Increased Leverage Add-On

NSF offers an Increased Leverage add-on, which can be selected at checkout.

  • Unlocks higher leverage based on the challenge type

  • Applies to the entire lifecycle of the account

  • Does not change drawdown, risk limits, or trading rules

  • Cannot be added after purchase

Important Notes

  • Leverage is fixed per challenge type

  • There is no automatic leverage reduction when moving to the funded stage

  • Traders should always adjust position sizing based on leverage and drawdown rules
